Terms of Service

Last updated: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VeriMails email verification platform (the "Service") operated by VeriMails ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Service

You may use VeriMails to verify email addresses for legitimate business purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to verify addresses for the purpose of sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Resell, redistribute, or make the Service available to third parties without written permission
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or CASL
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying verification technology

2. Account and Credits

Credits purchased on VeriMails do not expire and are non-refundable after use. Unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no verifications have been performed. Your account may be suspended or terminated for violation of these Terms without refund of unused credits.

3. Accuracy and Warranties

VeriMails provides email verification on a best-effort basis. We make no warranty that verification results are 100% accurate. Email validity can change at any time. We are not liable for bounces, spam complaints, or deliverability issues that occur even after verification. Results should be used as a deliverability signal, not a guarantee.

4. Data and Privacy

Email addresses submitted for verification are processed to determine deliverability. We do not sell email addresses to third parties. We retain verification logs for up to 90 days for account history purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

5. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeriMails shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
